About Rebecca
Hello! I'm Becca, and I love helping children learn, grow, and gain confidence. I believe every child learns differently, so I take the time to get to know each student's strengths and create a fun, encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and trying new things.
My goal is to make learning enjoyable while building a strong foundation in reading, writing, and math. I use patience, positive encouragement, and engaging activities to keep students interested and excited about learning.
Parents can expect a dependable, professional, and caring tutor who is committed to helping each child succeed at their own pace. Whether your child needs extra support, homework help, or wants to get ahead, I'm here to help them grow in both their skills and their confidence.

About Me
Hi! I'm a patient, encouraging tutor who believes every child can learn when they're given the right support and confidence. My goal is to make learning fun, interactive, and stress-free while helping students build a strong foundation in reading, writing, and math.
My Teaching Approach
I tailor each lesson to the individual student and their learning style. I use positive reinforcement, games, visuals, stories, and hands-on activities to keep young learners engaged. Rather than simply giving answers, I ask questions that help children think through problems and discover the solution on their own. I strive to create a comfortable environment where students feel safe asking questions and celebrating their progress.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
A typical lesson includes:
-A quick review of previous skills.
-Introduction of one new concept using age-appropriate examples.
-Guided practice where we work together.
-Independent practice to build confidence.
-A fun review game or activity to reinforce learning.
-A brief summary and suggestions for practice before our next session.
