About Amy
During my GCSE years, I struggled to manage my time in exams and also felt that I was not sufficiently challenged in the classroom, which made me feel like I was not going to reach my full potential in my exams. Ultimately, I had to teach myself the skills that were necessary for academic success, and I achieved the top grades that have allowed me to study English at a degree level. My own experience is why I want to teach, as I wish to provide students with the necessary high-level analytical skills so that no other student has to teach themselves due to a lack of support again.

As an Undergraduate Student, I can teach the close reading and analytical skills that boost GCSE pupils into the higher grade levels of 6-9 in one hour sessions. In terms of exam preparation, I aid pupils in decoding essay questions and effectively managing their time when writing through exam-style questions and exercises.
