About Eliza

Hi there! I’m a third-year dental student at King’s College London with over five years of experience tutoring KS2 to A-Level Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. Attaining all 9s and A*s in my exams, I know firsthand how to help your child succeed.

I’ve been tutoring Maths for six years, helping students of all abilities build strong foundations and achieve the grades they’re aiming for. My approach is clear, structured, and supportive, making even the trickiest topics feel manageable. I use a digital whiteboard during lessons so students can follow everything I write and demonstrate in real time — it feels just like working together at the same desk, even online.

About the lesson

My teaching style is structured, supportive, and focused on steady progress. I begin each session with short exam‑style starter questions to build confidence and reinforce key skills. Students receive targeted homework after lessons to strengthen understanding and track improvement over time. I also provide access to exclusive practice papers and high‑quality exam questions, giving students the chance to develop strong technique and become fully prepared for their exams.

Working alongside Eliza in dental school has not only showed us how hard working she is, but also her impeccable organisation and desire to help ither. Whether it's catching on lecture notes or understanding a concept, Eliza never fails to explain it in a simple way, allowing us to grasp the foundations easily!! And as an 11+ tutor, her exceptional explanation skills will no doubt help others build on their current knowledge and succeed in their exams.

She’s really good at explaining things clearly and patiently, especially topics I struggle with, and she always makes sure I understand before moving on. Her sessions are relaxed but well organised, and my confidence and understanding has improved a lot because of her support. She is always reliable and encouraging, and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an A-Level Maths tutor.

Eliza is an amazing tutor!
She motivated me, helped me build up my confidence and adapted to the style of teaching that suited me best. She identified my weaker areas and devised a plan to help me achieve my desired grade. Highly recommend!

Me and Eliza are currently in the same A level mathematics class. When I cannot understand a topic or have a question regarding class work or homework that I couldn’t understand with a teacher Eliza would always offer to help me out. Her explanation would always be so easy to understand and helpful. I would definitely recommend her to others as everything i’ve asked her about she’s managed to come back to me and teach me about in such an easy way and make me more confident in my own maths abilities.
