About Emily
I’m a double major in Spanish and Secondary Education, minoring in Spanish translation. I’m an essay and speech consultant at my university’s Writing and Speaking Center. Additionally, I help work with English second language students to improve their efficiency and grasp of the language, as well as with native English speakers.

I never look at someone I’m working with as simply a student, but rather a human being with true and genuine emotions, struggling with their own set of unique challenges on subject material and in life. I make creative worksheets and lessons and cater to all learning styles. I acknowledge wholeheartedly that we are all still learning, and I think that’s a central part of my teaching approach.
