About Theo
I am a language teacher specializing in English as a second language, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. I have a bachelor degree in Russian Studies from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada and a Cambridge ESL certificate from ILI in Halifax. I have two years of experience teaching English to groups of adults at a local immigration centre, and nearly two years experience tutoring students one-on-one, especially for IELTS exam. I speak four languages—English, French, Polish and Russian—and have travelled to Europe and Asia several times. Culture, travel, music, and language are my passions and I love to share them with the world.

I structure my lessons around the needs of the students, based in a methodology of practical usage and a focus on fluency. I believe good grammar comes from confidence in expression as well as knowledge of the forms. Since "practice makes perfect", I like to think my activities build the necessary core the student needs to build their own personal style of English.
