About Nicolet
I’m a young language practitioner who fell in love with languages from a very tender age, at around 5 years. I have always trained myself to speak fluently all the time and to always type in full. I have never used slang or shortened forms of words in my writing because it tends to lose meaning to the recipient. My love for language made me pursue a career in the English language where I did my BA in Languages (English and Xitsonga), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (English and Xitsonga), BA Honors in English Studies, and a 120-Hour TEFL/TESOL certification with the World TESOL Academy.

My teaching methodology is simple: focus on the primary foundation of learning a language & what it entails. Working with a group is much better because individuals get to learn new things they didn’t know from fellow students, and this encourages them to read more content that is written in English. I am a young language educator and have 3 years of classroom experience. My lessons are always fun and enjoyable, using the question and answer method to probe my learners’ minds. I use practical examples for easy understanding, something learners can relate to on a daily basis, and give encouragement to use English all the time to enhance their speech & vocabulary.
