About Jaafar
As your Arabic tutor, I want you to feel fully confident in both my professionalism and my dedication to your success. I bring over three decades of teaching experience, including six years teaching Arabic language and culture at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). This experience has given me a deep understanding of how learners progress, the challenges they face, and the strategies that truly help them master the language. In addition to teaching, I am qualified to evaluate students according to the ILR proficiency scale and conduct diagnostic assessments to identify strengths and areas for growth. This means I can create a personalized learning plan tailored exactly to your needs—whether you are starting from zero, strengthening your Modern Standard Arabic, or mastering the Iraqi dialect. You can trust that every lesson will be clear, structured, and professional, with a balance of language, culture, and practice. My goal is not only to teach you Arabic, but to give you the skills and confidence to use it meaningfully in real-world situations. Learning Arabic can be a challenging journey, but with the right guidance, it becomes deeply rewarding. I’m here to support you every step of the way with knowledge, patience, and commitment.
