My approach I focus on creating a supportive, enjoyable environment where beginners can feel confident exploring Icelandic without pressure. I use a mix of conversational practice, pronunciation drills, vocabulary building, and simple grammar explanations. I often bring in elements of Icelandic culture to make lessons both practical and fun. Lesson structure Most lessons are around 60 minutes, but that can be tailored to your needs. A typical class includes a short warm-up introduction of new vocabulary or grammar, guided practice through dialogue or exercises, and a recap at the end to reinforce learning. Qualifications and experience I am a native Icelandic speaker and I also have experience tutoring in other subjects, which has helped me develop clear, patient, and adaptable teaching methods. Whether you’re learning for travel, work, or personal interest, I’ll guide you step by step to build confidence and fluency.
