About Mingi

Hello! My name is Mingi, and I’m from South Korea. I’m currently studying Spanish at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. I’ve always liked learning languages and helping people understand things more easily.
When I was in high school, I often helped my friends with their studies, and that made me realize that I enjoy explaining things to others. I also play guitar and teach guitar in a band, so I’m used to helping people learn step by step.
I have a strong interest in languages. I received the highest grade in English on the Korean College Scholastic Ability Test, and I also won second place in a national English speaking competition hosted by WEC. These experiences helped me build confidence in language learning, but they also taught me how important clear explanation and steady practice are.
I speak Korean, English, and Spanish, so I know how difficult learning a new language can feel sometimes. Since I’m also learning languages myself, I understand that making mistakes is a natural part of the process. In my lessons, I want students to feel comfortable and relaxed.
You can ask questions freely, practice at your own pace, and learn Korean in a way that fits your goals, level, and interests.
¡Hola! Me llamo Mingi y soy de Corea del Sur. Actualmente estudio español en la Universidad Hankuk de Estudios Extranjeros.
Siempre me ha gustado aprender idiomas y ayudar a otras personas a entender las cosas más fácilmente. Cuando estaba en el instituto, solía ayudar a mis amigos con sus estudios, y eso me hizo darme cuenta de que me gusta explicar cosas a los demás. También toco la guitarra y enseño guitarra en una banda, así que estoy acostumbrado a ayudar a la gente a aprender paso a paso.
Tengo un gran interés por los idiomas. Obtuve la calificación más alta en inglés en el examen nacional de acceso a la universidad en Corea, y también gané el segundo lugar en un concurso nacional de oratoria en inglés organizado por WEC. Estas experiencias me ayudaron a ganar confianza aprendiendo idiomas, pero también me enseñaron la importancia de explicar las cosas con claridad y practicar de manera constante.
Hablo coreano, inglés y español, así que sé que aprender un nuevo idioma puede ser difícil a veces. Como yo también estoy aprendiendo idiomas, entiendo que cometer errores es una parte natural del proceso.
En mis clases, quiero que los estudiantes se sientan cómodos y relajados. Podéis hacer preguntas libremente, practicar a vuestros propios ritmos y aprender coreano de una manera que se adapte a vuestros objetivos, nivel e intereses.

My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and personalized for each student’s level and goals. I can help you learn Korean pronunciation, Korean letters, basic grammar, and natural daily conversation. I also use topics such as K-pop, Korean culture, travel, and everyday situations to make the lessons more fun and practical.
My class will provide you with personalized and prepared materials. You will neither have to do boring memorization drills nor do a lot of homework.
I can explain in English, and I can also support Spanish-speaking students. Hence, most of you do not have to worry about basic communication, and I can give you classes that are adjusted to your conversational level.
In my class, mistakes are welcome, and you can practice Korean comfortably at your own pace in a zero-judgment environment.
Mis clases son amables, relajadas y personalizadas según el nivel y los objetivos de cada estudiante. Puedo ayudaros a aprender la pronunciación coreana, el alfabeto coreano, la gramática básica y la conversación diaria natural.
También uso temas como el K-pop, la cultura coreana, los viajes y situaciones de la vida cotidiana para que las clases sean más divertidas y prácticas. En mis clases, tendréis materiales personalizados y preparados especialmente para vosotros.
No tendréis que hacer ejercicios aburridos de memorización ni una gran cantidad de tareas. Puedo explicar en inglés y también puedo apoyar a estudiantes hispanohablantes. Por eso, la mayoría de vosotros no tendréis que preocuparos por la comunicación básica, y podré adaptar las clases a su nivel de conversación.
En mi clase, los errores son bienvenidos. Podréis practicar coreano cómodamente, a vuestro propio ritmo y en un ambiente sin prejuicios.
