About Rashmi J
Hi, I’m Rashmi Narkar, and I offer specialized Hindi and Marathi tuition for Primary to Secondary school students in Mumbai. With 25+ years of teaching experience, I focus on helping students build a strong foundation in grammar, writing, reading, and spoken language through easy-to-understand, concept-based methods. You can trust that when your child joins my classes, they are in capable, caring hands. I treat every student as an individual and ensure that they are not left behind. With over 25 years of experience in teaching Hindi and Marathi, I’ve learned that every student is different, and so are their learning needs. My goal as a teacher is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where students can build their language skills with confidence and enjoy the learning process.
My Teaching Techniques & Methods
I follow a concept-based teaching style, which means I focus on making sure students understand the “why” and “how” behind every grammar rule or sentence structure.
My classes combine:
* Interactive explanations using real-life examples
* Simple sentence breakdowns for grammar clarity
* Step-by-step writing practice
* Regular speaking exercises to build fluency
* Custom worksheets and notes prepared by me for each topic
This ensures the child not only prepares for exams but also gains practical command over the language.
️ Structure of a Typical Class
A usual class lasts 60–75 minutes and includes:
* Warm-up review of the previous topic
* Introduction to a new concept with examples
* Student practice – writing, speaking, or solving exercises
* Doubt-solving and corrections
Homework explanation (based on school syllabus or weak areas)
Each session is planned to keep the student engaged and stress-free, with small breaks or changes in activity as needed.
