About Roisin

Hi, I’m Roisin — a passionate and friendly Maths tutor with over 6 years of experience helping students finally feel confident with numbers.

I specialise in turning “I just don’t get Maths” into “that actually makes sense!” through clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and lessons tailored to your pace and learning style. From algebra and geometry to calculus and exam technique, I focus on building both understanding and confidence.

I hold a First-Class degree in Psychology from a Russell Group university and a Master’s in Developmental Psychology. This gives me a strong insight into how people learn, remember, and overcome challenges — which I bring directly into my tutoring to make Maths feel more approachable and less overwhelming.

Whether you’re preparing for exams, catching up on tricky topics, or aiming for top grades, I’ll support you with patient, encouraging, and effective tutoring designed around your goals.

Let’s make Maths clearer, easier, and even enjoyable — one step at a time.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to make Maths feel clear, approachable, and even enjoyable.

I tailor every session to your individual needs, working at your pace and focusing on the areas where you need the most support. Whether you’re building confidence with the basics or tackling more advanced topics like algebra, geometry, or calculus, I break everything down into simple, step-by-step explanations that actually make sense.

Lessons are interactive and supportive, with plenty of guided practice, real understanding, and space to ask questions without pressure. My goal is to help you not just get the right answers, but understand why they work.

I also provide structured exam preparation, including proven strategies, targeted practice, and revision techniques to help you feel confident and fully prepared.

Whether you need short-term help before a test or ongoing support to reach your full potential, I adapt each lesson to suit your goals and learning style.

Let’s make progress together — one lesson at a time.

To whom it may concern,

I can confirm that Roisin Martinez is an Equal Education tutor and have been working with us since 09/10/2020.

As she has worked with us in a freelance capacity, and we did not directly manage her or her performance, we regrettably cannot supply a full reference.

That being said, during her time with us, we received no complaints about their performance as a tutor, and we were not made aware of any safeguarding concerns.

Kind regards,

Harvest Daurelle
