About Soren
I’m a piano tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Piano Emphasis. My background includes working with a wide variety of pianos—Grand, Upright, Digital, Classical, Player, Acoustic, and Electric Keyboard. I enjoy helping students feel comfortable and confident on whichever instrument they choose to play. My teaching style is student-centred and highly adaptable. Whether you're a school student starting out or a working adult seeking to refine your skills, I tailor each lesson to your needs and goals. I specialise in chord theory, ear training, improvisation, and creative expression, blending solid technique with musical exploration. Over the years, I’ve taught students at every level—from absolute beginners to advanced players and professional musicians. I focus on building a strong musical foundation while encouraging individuality and artistry. My lessons are supportive, structured, and designed to make progress feel rewarding and fun.
