Karla has been an amazing teacher. Especially during our coffee sessions, where she not only taught me Spanish, but also how Hispanic people go about life.

Karla has really helped me in starting Spanish! I was nervous about beginning to learn another language as it had been a while, however Karla put me at ease and helped to really focus on what mattered most to me when it came to Spanish!
This made the classes feel collaborative and just the right amount of challenging.

I was looking for Spanish classes and a friend introduced me to Karla. To be honest, I was expecting lessons to be the usual way, with textbooks, lots of grammar, and memorising rules. But when she explained her approach and how she believes in speaking from day one and learning through mistakes, it completely changed how I saw my language learning journey.

I remember that at the beginning, because I was a complete beginner, her goal was simply for me to speak Spanish using the present tense, no matter what. Little by little, we started adding new things, and then during our first coffee session, I realised I was actually having a conversation in Spanish. It definitely wasn't perfect, but I was speaking Spanish, which felt amazing.

I would highly recommend both the online lessons and the coffee sessions. Karla creates a relaxed environment that makes learning feel natural and enjoyable, and she's helped me gain so much confidence with the language.

I met Karla at a Spanish restaurant. I was trying to communicate with the staff in Spanish, so she helped me. She told me later on that she could teach me how to be more fluent and conversational. We started having coffee sessions, which, by the way, are my favorite because it’s like talking to a friend. My Spanish has improved in the best way possible, thanks to her. I gained a lot of confidence.
