About Daniel
I'm 24 and a non-binary musician who goes under the name of "Mango Lava" on streaming sites such as Spotify, Deezer, YouTube and multiple other sites. I've had my music played at an exhibition at Leeds City Museum and have collaborated with a few other artists.
I've been interested in music since I was a kid. I got into music production and using DAWs and a MIDI keyboard around age 15/16.
I received a Merit in Music BTEC at around age 16 and then a 2:1 in my Electronic Music Production foundation degree at Leeds Conservatoire at age 21. At age 22, I graduated with another 2:1 in Music Production.
I work with Ableton 10 but can also create tailored written lessons on topics ranging from basic music theory to how to use Ableton and produce your own tracks. Please let me know your level in music theory, music production, etc. Let me know, in as much detail as possible, what you're looking for and what topics you're wanting me to cover so I can tailor my lessons specifically to you.

Topics I may cover include: chords, keys, melodies, flats/sharps, minor/major, modes, MIDI instruments, audio effects, MIDI effects, samples, clips, Impulse, Analogue, Wavetable, creating a piece of music, genre, creating emotion through music, exporting music, distributing music, recording into Ableton, preferences section, connecting the MIDI keyboard, sound effects, Foley, field recordings, MIDI parameters, music in a live context, MIDI mapping, key mapping, volume control / clipping, automation, tempo, grain delay, saturation, EQ, composition, etc.
Important: I may know more about some topics and less about others. I will do my best to answer your questions. I can also do research in between sessions, so you can ask me to cover topics and I can try to learn about these topics and pass on that knowledge but no promises because I have a busy schedule. DETAILS
If you are unsatisfied with your lesson, I cannot refund you. However, if you have purchased multiple lessons and you want to cancel them, you can but you will be charged full price for any sessions you did attend (e.g. If you bought 5 sessions for £60, and you are unsatisfied after 1 lesson, you will be charged the full price of £15 and get refunded the remainder of the £60).
I do not charge a cancellation fee, however, there is a tiny chance I may also have to cancel or rearrange a session but this will be rare. I will refund in full any sessions that I cancel.
