About Kevin
My day job is a computer technician. After hours I have been playing music for more than forty years. I play the piano, guitar, bass, mandolin, mouth organ, drums and sing. I have a full understanding of music theory and can sight read music. I have been teaching people piano and guitar on and off for twenty years.

My teaching method is is two pronged. Firstly, I like to give my students an understanding of chords and how they fit into a song from a theory and a practical point of view. This stems from my years of guitar playing. Secondly, I like to get my students playing simple melodies, playing from sheet music and playing by ear. Then WHAM - we join these two together.
