About Mikaela
Hi! I am Mikaela, a Bachelor of science in Chemistry graduate, despite my degree, I am passionate about helping students learn English in a fun, positive, and comfortable environment.
I am patient, friendly, and dedicated tutor who believes that every student has their own learning pace and strength. I make an effort to explain lessons clearly and simply, while encouraging students to ask questions, participate, and practice without, being afraid of making mistakes.
My academic background has taught me to be organized, detail-oriented, and persistent when learning new and challenging concepts. I bring these qualities into my lesson to help students develop their English skills step by step. I am here to support and encourage you throughout your learning journey. My goal is to make every lesson enjoyable, meaningful, and something you can look forward to.

Hi! I'm Mikaela, your friendly and patient teacher who loves helping students like you learn English in a fun and comfortable way!
My teaching style is cheerful, interactive, and student-centered. I believed children learn best when they enjoy the lesson and feel confident enough to participate. I use simple explanations, colorful examples, questions, games, conversations, and fun activities to help students understand and remember what they learn.
A typical lesson starts with a friendly greeting, and a short warm-up to help the student feel comfortable. We then introduce the day's topic and practice through vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, speaking, or simple grammar activities. I encourage students to participate throughout the lesson and always end with a quick review of what we learned if we have the time.
What makes me different as a tutor is my patience and my ability to explain things clearly and step by step. As a Chemistry graduate, I am used to learning and explaining challenging concepts in a simple way. I bring this same patience and approach to my English lessons.
My lessons are suitable for beginner and elementary English learners who want to improve their speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading grammar, and everyday communication skills. Most importantly, I want every student to feel happy, comfortable and proud of their progress.
