About Seemran

I’m a freelance tutor with 10 years of experience, teaching Singapore primary school Math through home tuition and online lessons. I once considered full-time teaching but chose freelancing because it suits me better. I teach because I enjoy helping students understand concepts in a way that makes sense to them. I believe learning isn’t just about being “better”—it’s about finding different approaches that work. Tutoring lets me personalize lessons, focus on each student’s strengths and weaknesses, and make a real impact. Plus, freelancing gives me the flexibility to teach in my own way while managing my time effectively.

Personalized Learning • Adapting my teaching based on the student’s weaknesses (e.g., if they struggle with word problems, focusing on reading and breaking down questions). 4. Interactive & Engaging Methods • Using real-life examples or hands-on activities (e.g., drawing models for problem sums, using manipulatives for younger students). • Encouraging students to explain their reasoning, which helps deepen their understanding. 5. Exam Strategies & Time Management • Teaching students how to manage their time during exams. • Helping them recognize common question patterns in school exams. • Providing past-year papers and mock tests for practice. 6.
