About Amelia
My name is Amelia Barrett. I am eighteen years old. I have recently finished my A-levels - receiving my predicted grades, ABB. My strong work ethic and dedication led me to success on results day and I believe this is possible for anyone. Currently, I am taking a gap year to work and learn. I wish to make use of my time this year, using my existing skills and passion for English, to support you.

I am passionate about supporting English students in building confidence in their writing abilities and creating a strong foundation of knowledge, required for their SATs or GCSEs. Because I have just finished education, with rewarding A-level grades ABB, alongside 9 GCSEs, I feel up to date with curriculum structure, exam technique and am enthusiastic about stepping up from student to tutor. Each lesson lasts an hour - and is accustomed to the individual student's needs, exam board and qualification/grade they wish to receive. A review of existing knowledge will show me the student's strengths and areas to improve, which will allow me to construct valuable lessons, relevant to each student.
