About Amelia
I am currently a law student at Cardiff University having achieved an A* grade in A Level Law. Throughout my time in upper sixth form I partook in a mentoring scheme supporting first year A Level Law students, providing consolidation/extra guidance on content, essay skills, and general revision tips. My range of topics covered include: The English Legal System (Legal Foundations), Tort Law, Criminal Law and Contract Law.

I take a flexible approach to the teaching and learning process, dependant on what each individual tutee is looking to get from the lesson. Support for essay content and structure includes interactive discussion on how to approach both standard essay questions and problem/scenario questions in terms of planning and structure and how to apply relevant case law and legislation. As some topics in law, especially Tort and Criminal, are very much case law centred, tutees can expect to consolidate their knowledge of basic principles provided through cases, and, if they wish, can be challenged with learning about additional cases and/or starting to explore judgments.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, I am only offering online sessions. Cancelling is not a problem but do try to do so 24 hours in advance where possible, although there is no fee.
