About Olivia
I am an A level history and classics student at Greenhead College, with a grade 8 at GCSE history in my exams in 2023. During this time I worked hard to grasp not only content but exam techniques needed for top level grades, and helped others do the same, as well as working within young leading to help them towards local and national badges which are to do with history. I aspire to be a teacher after university, and have already worked to develop the skills needed for this.

-I have an exam-based approach to learning, helping students understand how an examiner wants questions to be answered for highest grades and what key information is best to be inputted. This means going through past exams, knowledge quizzes, and example answers after learning a subject. - Lesson length can differentiate to a client's needs, however, it is recommended for them to be over 45 minutes to be able to go into more detail. - Lessons are targeted towards high school and GCSE students (14-16), though I am most experienced within the OCR history exam board, many skills needed for source and essay questions are transferable within the subject. -While achieving my level 8 in history GCSE, I helped many of my peers at the time revise and tutored a handful within the subject. As well as this, I commonly work as a young leader in scouting, and have worked with kids for over 3 years currently.
