About Tyler
I’ve had a passion for English for over 7 years. Within my studies I’ve improved more and more.
I’m in my final year of A Levels now, one being English Literature. I take pride in my work and enjoy analysing and annotating quotes and key findings from texts.
Outside of English specifically, I am easy to work with, I listen to certain requests, and go into even more into detail with any struggles a student may have.

Qualified in both English Literature and English Language. I can offer up to date curriculums as it wasn’t that long ago I studied my GCSE’s. I’ve had experience before in tutoring others and I’ve had positive feedback on my teaching skills.
My teaching topics -
English Language:
1. Importance of using adjectives and connectives.
2. How to structure different types of essay questions within the exam.
3. Analysing and finding key information.
4. Any other requests to spend a lesson on.
English Literature:
1. Comparing in poetry
2. Helping to improve on time limits in the exam.
3. Quotes from novel’s
3. Analysing and annotating sections and quotes.
4. Different key words to use in exams and their meanings.
5. Any other requests to spend a lesson on.
The above is mainly for year 10 and 11 students. However, I can give extra support to lower years, by teaching the basics of English. Please get in touch and we can discuss this further.
