About Oluwanifemi
I am very modern in my way of teaching allowing students to understand and grasp concepts in a more effective manner in respect to their generation. I also believe everyone has potential to grow and be better and this reflects in my methods of tutoring

My maths lessons are designed to be interactive, visual and easy to follow. I believe that students learn maths best when they can actually see how a problem works rather than simply being given a formula and expected to memorise it. My aim is to make every lesson engaging while also building the student’s confidence and ability to solve problems independently.
I usually structure my lessons around a presentation-style format, similar to a PowerPoint. I use clear slides, diagrams, graphs, worked examples, step-by-step explanations and visual representations to break down difficult mathematical concepts. For example, when teaching algebra, I can use visual layouts to show how equations change at each stage. For geometry, I can use diagrams and labelled shapes to make formulae and relationships easier to understand. For statistics, I use graphs, tables and charts so students can clearly see what the numbers are representing.
I normally start each lesson by introducing the topic and explaining the key ideas in simple language. I then demonstrate several examples, explaining my thought process step by step. After that, I give the student questions to attempt themselves. Rather than immediately giving them the answer when they struggle, I guide them through the process with hints and questions so they can develop their own problem-solving skills.
I also believe that lessons should be adapted to the individual student. If a student understands a topic quickly, I can increase the difficulty and introduce more challenging exam-style questions. If they are struggling, I slow the lesson down, use different visual explanations and revisit the foundations until the concept becomes clearer.
A major part of my teaching is exam preparation. I use practice questions and exam-style problems to help students understand how mathematical knowledge is actually applied. I also teach students how to approach questions logically, identify important information, show their working clearly and avoid common mistakes.
At the end of lessons, I like to review what we have covered and identify anything that needs more practice. This helps create a clear learning pathway for future lessons.
Overall, my teaching style is visual, structured, patient and interactive. I want students to leave each lesson not only knowing how to answer a particular question, but understanding **why** the method works. My goal is to make maths feel less intimidating and help students develop the confidence to tackle challenging problems independently.
