About Adam
I was an elementary school teacher for 5 years. I taught STEM to a school of 350 students and then transitioned into a 5th-grade Math and Science teacher. During COVID, I transitioned to healthcare where I am a project manager at a hospital in Boston. I have a 2-year-old daughter. I miss teaching directly and want to get back to my roots.

I am a firm believer in hands on and multifaceted approaches to learning. I design personalized lessons and activities to achieve objectives through games or experiments. My experience lies most with primary grades however I was a tutor for GED students in High School.
My typical lessons begin with a warm up related to the lesson, direct guided instruction followed by a gradual release of responsibility. I do, we do, you do. We tend to finish with a hands on activity and writing reflection.
