As a licensed high school math teacher with over a dozen years of classroom experience, I bring a warm, patient, and personalized approach to tutoring. I’m certified to teach AP Statistics and have helped students at all levels—from middle school math to advanced high school courses—develop confidence and deeper understanding in math.
My teaching method focuses on building conceptual clarity through visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive practice. I believe learning is most effective when students feel supported, seen, and engaged. Whether you’re preparing for standardized tests, tackling homework, or simply trying to improve your skills, I tailor each session to your goals and learning style.
A typical lesson begins with a quick check-in and review of previous material, followed by clear instruction, guided practice, and collaborative problem-solving. I encourage questions and create a low-pressure environment where mistakes are seen as stepping stones to mastery.
What sets me apart is my creative, mindful approach to teaching—sometimes incorporating movement, games, or storytelling to make abstract concepts more relatable. I specialize in working with students who may feel anxious or discouraged about math, and I love helping them shift their mindset and find joy in learning.
Lessons are available for middle school, high school, and college-prep students, including those taking Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Statistics, and more. I welcome neurodivergent learners and students from all backgrounds.
