About Nicole
I am a college student who has been tutoring for 6 years and teaching for 4 years. I have experience with private tutoring, 2-on-1 learning, and classroom settings. I study Japanese and linguistics as my majors in college; therefore, I am not only familiar with the process of learning a second language, but I also specialize in explanations of language using correct linguistic terminology and effective theories. I have experience with teaching a broad number of subjects including English, Spanish, Japanese, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Physics, and Chemistry.

My teaching method is always dependent on the student. I believe it is the teacher's duty to adapt their methods to suit the needs of the student. I will often ask the student to elaborate on their way of thinking so I can understand the way in which the student learns. I will then use those observations to adjust my explanations and method to best help the student learn.

Details
The base rate for ESL help is $20/hour. However, this price might change depending on the workload and complexity of each course. Any and all price changes will be discussed with the student beforehand and will only be charged when both parties are in agreement. Such changes will be a rarity.
