About Chun Hei
I am currently a postgraduate student at the University of York studying psychology and linguistics. I have the experience of teaching a Cantonese class of up to 12 at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. I have also helped some students with language-based learning disabilities overcome some of the challenges they were facing in their native Chinese education.

Language is a medium for us to express our thoughts, but different languages guide us to think in different structures and manners. I teach not only by offering guidance on daily conversations, but through offering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the underlying grammatical structure of the Chinese language. This ultimately gives one the ability not just to think of how to say something in a particular foreign language, but to actually think in a foreign language and make the language flows like it’s second nature.
