I am an English teacher with 30 years of experience. I have published feature articles in both the Chicago Sun-Times and The National Herald, along with four books of poetry and short fiction. I teach film as well.

I employ the Socratic method of teaching with a heavy amount of attention paid to discussion. In addition, I also use my share of documentary and fiction films to enhance my lessons. And I sometimes use trivia games.
