About Katie
I grew up in San Antonio and have lived off and on in Austin since 2008. I've lived Spain, Chile, and Brazil and have traveled extensively throughout Latin America and Europe.
I graduated from UT twice, with a Bachelor's in Spanish and Psychology and two Master's in Social Work and Public Affairs.
I have been working in education administration and am currently going through a career transition.

I enjoy teaching adults with an intermediate to advanced level who are looking to excel in their speaking, pronunciation, and grammar.
I typically start the class off with conversation, then we read an article or play a game, and I bring in grammar exercises as needed to support areas of growth. My classes are dynamic, and I always ask for feedback about what my students want.
I am happy to use a book if that is preferred and can assign homework.
