About Migena
I am a London-based university lecturer with a strong academic background and extensive experience supporting students in higher education. I currently teach Health and Social Care at Level 3 and Level 4 and provide academic support in areas such as critical thinking, structured writing, and assessment preparation.
I hold an MSc from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and a BSc in Biological Sciences. My academic and teaching experience within the UK education system has given me a clear understanding of assessment standards, structured argumentation, and the level of performance required for success in formal examinations.
Alongside my lecturing role, I have experience delivering one-to-one and group academic support, helping students improve clarity, coherence, and confidence in their written and spoken English. My Approach to IELTS Preparation
I provide structured, focused IELTS preparation designed to help students move confidently from their current level to their target band.
As a London-based university lecturer with experience supporting students in academic writing and assessment, I understand how high-stakes exams work. IELTS is not just about speaking English; it is about understanding the marking criteria and performing effectively under timed conditions.
