About Christopher
I had the good fortune to come of age midlate 60s. My history teacher was, it turned out, a great jazz musician. He gave me my first lessons at 12 years old. I have never looked back, and remain very grateful that I learned to play guitar.
Playing music has been a main thread of my life, the people I’ve known and played with, the places I’ve been and the teachers I’ve had.. the endless and continuous learning and inspiration.

Over time, I have evolved my methods of teaching - guitar/music. I take an individual ‘tailored’ approach, but also generally insist on some fundamentals being learned and practiced, equipping a student to progress quicker - gaining an understanding of the structure and patterns in all music in the process.
