About Gavin
I have a Master's degree from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and I completed my Undergraduate degree at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, studying the viola. I have been playing the viola since the age of 6, and also studied at St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh. I have experience teaching violin and viola to a wide range of ages and abilities, from beginners to adult learners, both in person and over Zoom. During my studies, I was actively involved in outreach work through Birmingham’s Leap Ensemble and Guildhall Young Artists.
