About William
In life mastery is what drives me, I hope to inspire the same passion in you. I understand that the institutional environments you have experienced may not have fostered this (they didn't for me) so I hope my lessons will be a refreshing change. When I was in school I found that large class sizes were not the ideal space for learning. For my A levels I received 1 to 1 teaching instead of going to school, so I know the difference between bad and excellent tutoring.
I have a masters (Distinction) in Psychosocial studies, which bridges sociological and psychological enquiry. My undergraduate degree was in Sociology (1st class).

I hope to tailor what I do to what you need. I like to work within the modern context so any theory will be situated within this, giving the student a deepened understanding and interest. Relating theory to existing interests and experiences is a key to enjoying and using theory in a creative and original way. I am happy to help students with writing essays and making sense of theoretical and methodological material.
