About Will
I am an LSE graduate with a strong background in History and International Relations, specialising in GCSE and A-Level History and Politics. I have experience supporting students with exam preparation, essay writing, and critical thinking, and I also guide students with personal statements and university applications.
In addition to academic tutoring, I have taught music to groups of children aged 8–10 as part of a community engagement programme, and I am a qualified ski (CSIAL1) and sailing (RYA DI, PB2, Day Skipper) instructor, which has given me experience in lesson planning, structured teaching, and working with learners of different ages and abilities. I am patient, organised, and committed to helping students build confidence, achieve their goals, and enjoy learning.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether it’s exam preparation, essay writing, or understanding complex historical and political concepts. I focus on helping students develop strong analytical skills, source evaluation, and structured essay techniques that improve both understanding and grades.
I also provide support with personal statements and university applications, guiding students to present their ideas clearly and confidently. Lessons are interactive and engaging, with practice exercises, feedback, and strategies to build confidence and independence.
I teach GCSE and A-Level History and Politics, and I adapt my approach for each student’s learning style to make sessions productive, focused, and enjoyable. Lessons are available online and can be scheduled flexibly to fit your routine.
