About Leah

A Little About Me

Hi, I’m Leah and I am passionate about helping children develop confidence in their English, reading, and phonics skills.

My journey into education began through my studies, where I achieved GCSE English grades A and B, completed A Levels (BCC), and earned a degree in Childhood Studies and Early Years. I currently work as a Teaching Assistant and have experience providing 1:1 support for children with SEND.

Working closely with children every day has shown me that every child learns differently. I have seen first-hand how the right support, encouragement, and teaching approach can help a child grow in confidence and achieve things they once found challenging.

This is why I decided to offer tutoring. I want to provide children with a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress. My goal is not only to improve academic skills but also to help children believe in their own abilities.

Whether your child needs support with phonics, reading, comprehension, writing, or general English skills, I am committed to helping them reach their full potential.
