I have been taking Mandarin, Chinese lessons with Yu, for over two years now.
Yu, takes into account each students, goals, and desires when it comes to language learning. Some students may wish to go travel or study in various Chinese speaking countries.

The end goal of each student is different so Yu’s approach for each student is not cookie cutter. Yu makes sure to instill a strong foundation in your Chinese learning so at a relatively quick pace you will be able to form sentences and recognize patterns all of which will aid you in your goals when it comes to Chinese language acquisition.

I most definitely recommend teacher Yu and do not regret learning with her at all.

Dr. Yunling is an outstanding Mandarin teacher. I’m not sure how she does it, but she seamlessly blends rigour, fun, and creativity into her teaching. At times, it feels more like we’re collaborating than simply learning! She has not only helped me surpass my goals but also instilled in me the confidence and courage to keep moving forward. Without a doubt, she is the best Chinese teacher I’ve ever had—by a long shot!
