About Maro
I recently graduated from St Ursula’s College in 2025 with an ATAR of 91.8, and am currently studying Architecture at The University of Sydney. I have a strong passion for learning and genuinely enjoy helping children build confidence, especially when they need extra attention and support that schools often don’t always have time to provide.
I specialise in working with Primary School students, offering step-by-step, personalised support tailored to each child’s reading, writing, and comprehension needs. From helping your child form sentences line by line, or break down what comprehension questions are asking, I aim to help students reach and exceed the standards required for NAPLAN.
I truly understand what it feels like to not understand something, and how frustrating and discouraging that can be, especially for young learners.

From my experience with years of learning, learning gaps often come from more than just the work itself. They can stem from low confidence, feeling overwhelmed by long tasks, or not knowing where to begin.
My approach focuses on breaking everything down to its core, by using simple steps, practical examples and clear explanations so students can truly understand, not just memorise.
I create a warm, supportive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and growing at their own pace. My goal is not just academic improvement, but helping students enjoy learning and believe in themselves.
My rates are:
- $40/hr - kindergarten - Year 2
- $50/hr - Year 3 - 6
