About Molly

With 6 years of professional tutoring experience, I have helped students strengthen their chemistry knowledge and achieve excellent academic outcomes at GCSE, A-Level, and university levels. My experience has taught me that every learner progresses differently, which is why I design personalised lessons that match individual goals, strengths, and areas requiring improvement.

I specialise in simplifying challenging chemistry topics into logical, manageable steps that promote genuine understanding rather than short-term memorisation. Students benefit from structured explanations, practical examples, interactive discussions, and carefully selected practice exercises that develop analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

My teaching covers a broad range of chemistry subjects, including atomic structure, chemical bonding, equilibrium, kinetics, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, spectroscopy, and organic reaction mechanisms. Alongside subject knowledge, I provide valuable guidance on revision techniques, examination strategies, and effective study habits that contribute to long-term academic success.

I am passionate about creating an encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated to ask questions, overcome challenges, and celebrate progress. My ultimate objective is not only to improve grades but also to develop confidence, curiosity, and independent learning skills. Whether you are preparing for examinations, coursework, or university assessments, I am dedicated to helping you reach your full academic potential through patient, supportive, and results-focused tuition.

Every chemistry lesson is carefully planned to help students gain confidence while developing a genuine understanding of scientific principles. I believe successful learning comes from understanding why concepts work, not simply remembering definitions or formulae. My lessons therefore emphasise logical thinking, problem-solving, and practical application.

Each session is tailored to the student's curriculum, academic goals, and learning style. Complex topics are broken into manageable sections using relatable examples, visual explanations, and step-by-step reasoning. Students actively participate throughout the lesson, allowing them to strengthen their analytical skills and build confidence in answering challenging questions.

I support GCSE, A-Level, and university learners across all major chemistry topics, including atomic structure, chemical bonding, kinetics, equilibrium, thermodynamics, spectroscopy, organic synthesis, and quantitative chemistry. Regular exam-style questions, progress assessments, and personalised feedback ensure continuous improvement.

Students receive guidance on revision planning, time management, and effective examination strategies alongside subject knowledge. My lessons are welcoming, interactive, and focused on measurable progress. Whether you are aiming for top examination grades, preparing for university assessments, or overcoming difficult topics, I provide structured support that helps transform uncertainty into confidence and consistent academic achievement.
