About Ray
I am a kind, thoughtful and fun person who hails originally from Brooklyn, New York. My first career was as a chef. I graduated from New York City College of Technology with a degree in Hospitality Management. I have since worked as a chef in New York, Chicago, Northern Italy and Madison, WI. I started training in martial arts in 1994, and in 1997 achieved black belt status. I began teaching Taekwon-Do at that point, and then decided to become a teacher. I received my Master of Education with a specialization in Literacy in 2012, and have enjoyed teaching ever since!
