About Hope
My name is Hope, and I am a 23-year-old graduate with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and French from the University of Manchester. I have a genuine love for English literature; as a vast pool of history, art, and emotion, I believe it is one of the best examples of human creativity. I understand the importance of adapting lessons to each student, and I prioritise their individual learning styles. I always do my best to ensure my students are working to the best of their ability and achieving their goals whilst providing the guidance and direction they need. I have experience tutoring both small groups and individuals, and am proud to state that every student has improved by at least one grade.

I believe I would be a great fit as your tutor because of my genuine passion for the subjects I teach. I hope to help you grow the same appreciation for them, see what new perspectives you can unlock and also hone and improve important exam skills. The typical length of any lesson will start from 45 minutes and be a maximum of two hours, where we will discuss and analyse texts, research important context and work together to put it into an exam framework that is clear and personal to you - because everyone learns differently! I am most comfortable tutoring GCSE level and upwards, and have two years tutoring experience helping year 12 and 13 students prepare for their English language and literature A-Levels. I have tutored individuals and groups, and enjoy adapting to everyone's personal learning needs.
