About Gendrot
I'm Sarah, passionate about languages and culture, living in Alexandria, Egypt. Originally from France 🤍️, near Paris , I worked as a payroll manager before discovering my vocation for teaching. I'm fluent in Egyptian Arabic ️🤍, and love outdoor activities, ethnic cuisine, as well as reading about personal development. A multitasking mom, I take pleasure in sharing my native language, French, and am proud to see my students progress and gain confidence.
Super multitasking mom: I can fold laundry, correct a French homework assignment and negotiate with a 5-year-old - all while packing our bags!
I grew up in France, near Paris, where I worked for several years as a payroll administrator. In this role, I trained new employees, developing my love for teaching and my ability to pass on knowledge with patience.
My passion for the French language and my desire to help others speak it led me to become a French tutor. Now based in Alexandria, Egypt, and fluent in Egyptian Arabic, I've been teaching conversational French for over a year to students of all levels and backgrounds. This experience has honed my teaching techniques and my ability to adapt to each student's specific needs.

MY METHOD
My method focuses on repeating real-life scenarios until the student feels totally comfortable speaking. Unlike other approaches, I make sure that each concept is fully assimilated before introducing new elements. This helps my students consolidate their language skills without being overwhelmed by new content, enabling them to speak more easily and confidently.
The pillars of my method ️
Progressive repetition : Information is reviewed at progressively longer intervals to reinforce long-term retention.
Active recall : Students are actively involved in retrieving information, improving their ability to remember and apply what they've learned.
Personalization : The pace of learning is tailored to each student, with more frequent revisions for difficult concepts and less frequent revisions for those already mastered.
