About Mariska
I have a Master Degree in Germanic Philology from the University of Antwerp, have ample experience in translating into French and German and recently got an extra degree as an Online TEFL teacher. I am Belgian (Dutch mother tongue, French as a second language) but have been living in South-Africa for the past 9 years so switched to English and Afrikaans as home languages.

I use the PPP methodology (Presentation-Practice-Production) and focus on student participation and conversation. I have obtained my degree as a TEFL teacher from the UK-based Lead Academy and will adapt my teaching strategies to the students' age (children, students and adults) and level (from beginners to relatively experienced speakers).
