About Andrew
I am a curator, researcher and arts educator with experience spanning museums, university galleries and higher education. My career combines exhibition making, curatorial research, public engagement, collection interpretation and academic teaching, enabling me to connect research with accessible public programming.
As Curator, I curated and managed more than fifteen exhibitions, collaborated with artists, academics and international partners, developed public programmes, managed gallery operations and led educational initiatives. Alongside this I lectured in Visual Studies for five years, teaching art history, museums, visual culture and critical theory while supervising student research and developing innovative curricula.
My research explores contemporary visual culture, museums, photography, decolonisation, institutional critique and the social role of galleries. I regularly present conference papers, publish research and work across disciplines to create exhibitions and learning experiences that engage diverse audiences.

Each lesson will typically be an hour but can work around your needs.
I have a Masters and BS(Hons) in Visual Studies, which incorporates Art History, Critical Studies, Museum Studies, Object Oriented Ontology, Institutional Critique, and Curation. I have over 5 years experience lecturing in Higher Education, 2 years teaching at a secondary school level and over 4 years as a Curator.
My lessons are welcome to anyone of all ages.
