About Hannes
I am a qualified linguist with 5 years experience teaching and busy completing my psychology studies to become a clinical psychologist.
I have taught a variety of subject from economics to English and physical education, and I have taught from the age of 4 to the age of 40 both in South Africa and South Korea.

Even in language there are structures and an history of those structures, I like to explain why and how language came to be as it is, which tends to make knowing how to use it a lot easier.
I prescribe more to how language is used as opposed to how language should be used, in the sense that archaic language should be noted but left where it belongs.
Language can be as much fun and as interesting as any other subject and I strive to show that in my lessons.
I have a definite lesson structure but my lessons are more free to what happens in the lesson.
I am an experienced editor and thus can teach English at a high academic level if needed.
