About Amiyah

I am a passionate math tutor with 3 years of experience teaching students from school to college. My love for education drives me to inspire and motivate my students to achieve their best. I believe that every student has the potential to excel in math, and I am dedicated to helping them unlock that potential.

In my teaching journey, I have successfully guided numerous students through challenging concepts and helped them improve their grades. One of my proudest achievements was assisting a struggling student in passing their math exams, which boosted their confidence tremendously. I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged to explore the wonders of mathematics.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology revolves around compassion, accountability, integrity, and communication. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to meet individual needs and abilities. Compassion is at the heart of my approach; I create a safe space where students feel comfortable sharing their struggles and questions.

I emphasize accountability by setting clear goals and expectations, encouraging students to take responsibility for their learning. Integrity is essential, and I strive to be honest and transparent, fostering trust in our tutoring relationship.

Effective communication is key to understanding math concepts. I use simple explanations, real-world examples, and interactive activities to make learning engaging. Together, we build confidence and skills that extend beyond math, helping students excel in relevant subjects as well.
