About Jorge

From a very young age, questions about the vastness of space and the mysteries of the universe have been the driving force behind my passion for science. Participating in activities such as the First Global Challenge not only allowed me to deepen my knowledge of programming and technology, but also reinforced my conviction to pursue a career in physics. This combination of curiosity and experiences has given me a deep and enthusiastic understanding that I wish to share with my students.

My teaching method is based on creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment, where complex concepts are addressed in a clear and accessible manner. I strongly believe in tailoring classes to each student's individual needs, encouraging critical thinking and problem solving through practical examples and real-world applications. I strive to create an environment of trust and mutual respect, where students feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes, because that is where true learning comes from. My goal is not only to transmit knowledge, but also to inspire my students to develop their own passion for science and technology.

In addition to my academic training, I have several years of experience working as a monitor in summer activities with children and young people between 3 and 16 years old. This experience allows me to adapt my classes to the individual needs of each student, ensuring that each one receives the attention and support they need to achieve their academic goals.

My commitment to the education and personal development of my students is absolute, and I always seek to keep up to date with the latest methodologies and discoveries in the field of science in order to offer the highest quality teaching. I am convinced that, together, we can explore and understand the fascinating concepts of the universe in a way that is both educational and inspiring.

As a private tutor, my approach is to personalize each class to suit each student's specific needs and goals. My methodology combines theory with practice, ensuring that concepts are thoroughly understood and effectively applied.

- Teaching techniques and methodology:
I use a combination of theoretical explanations, practical exercises, and real-world examples to make complex concepts more accessible. I begin with an initial assessment to identify the student's strengths and areas for improvement. I then create a study plan that fits their learning pace and/or the approach of the course in which reinforcement is needed, incorporating multimedia resources, simulations, and interactive problems.

- Example of a class program:
1. Review of the previous class: We review what we have learned and resolve doubts.
2. Introduction of new concepts: Theoretical explanation with visual examples.
3. Practical exercises: Problem solving related to the topic.
4. Real application: I relate the topic to practical cases, such as astrophysical phenomena or programming problems.
5. Discussion and closure: Resolution of doubts and establishment of tasks for the next class.

- Particularities as a teacher:
My experience as an international student and in the First Global Challenge has allowed me to develop a broad and diverse vision of science and different teaching methods. This helps me to transmit knowledge in a clear and contextualized way, emphasizing how it is applied in real projects and situations.

- Target audience:
My classes are aimed at secondary school (ESO and Bachillerato) and university students who are looking to reinforce their knowledge in physics, programming, mathematics and chemistry. I also offer support to students who want to prepare for programming/robotics competitions or who are interested in astrophysics.
