About Apolline
I am a master's student of Foreign Language, Literature and Civilisation, specialised in Japanese, and I am currently preparing for my PhD. I also studies in Japan for a year. During my two years of master, I also taught Japanese to first, second, and third years, thanks to which I could develop some pedagogy.

I lean towards a method in which the students have to express themselves, that is to say, a free discussion where they have to speak in English as much as possible, to feel at ease with the language. Then we correct the mistakes made during that discussion, a more theoretical part that allows us to focus more on the grammar and what the students have a hard time with. This exercise has the advantage of improving writing skills on the other hand.
At the same time, I depend on texts or videos to improve oral and written comprehension skills.
Depending on the level, my method can change : if needed, I teach based on school books and more academic methods.
Those lessons are for beginners, intermediary and advanced students, and those preparing for JLPT.
