About Emmanuelle
The teaching program at my French University, La Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, has been sending teachers around the world for decades. I first came to the USA to teach French in a private college in South Carolina. I have since become a citizen.

I have extensive training in teaching French as a foreign language, and a lifetime of experience as a student of foreign languages, so I understand the challenges faced by learners. I use a variety of format, conversations, textbooks, websites, as well as music and movies, based on my students' preferences, interests, and learning styles. This also allows us to work on reading, writing, listening and talking. Amount of time spent on each will depend on student needs.
