About Paulo
Along 30 years working as music arranger, composer and instrumentalist (acoustic and electric guitar), teaching acoustic and electric guitar, harmony and improvisation (Jazz, Bossa Nova, Blues, etc.), I shared the stage and studio with great Brazilian musicians. I can teach classical and Rock/Pop guitar either through well known books as Trinity and Rockschool or even what the student think fits.

Along 30 years working as music arranger, composer and instrumentalist (acoustic and electric guitar), teaching acoustic and electric guitar, harmony and improvisation (Jazz, Bossa Nova, Blues, etc.), I shared the stage and studio with great Brazilian musicians. During 14 years as a music teacher in the elementary school (6-10 years old children) I always had keen interest in observation and evaluation of how music relates to motor, language and cognitive development in children at nursery, preschool and elementary school ages. Paulo has been a professional guitarist and guitar teacher in Brazil for several decades, playing and teaching various styles on the acoustic and electric guitar. He has now moved to London to study on our MSc programme in Music, Mind and Brain at Goldsmiths. Paulo is an incredibly talented person who has a lot of enthusiasm for music. In addition, he is also a great music psychology researcher and has already published several papers in prestigious music psychology journals. Besides his talents for music and research, Paulo is also a very kind, friendly and gentle character and a joy to work with.
Paulo is a fantastic music teacher. He assessed your needs very quickly and adapts the lesson to your needs. What a talented and knowledgable teacher!
