About Courtney
I have been dancing for over 20 years now.
I have worked as a dance teacher for almost 10 now.
I work everyday in the public schools system seeing over 400 students a week.
Currently the ballet director of a children’s dance school.
I have trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and acrobatics.
Most importantly I am a mom, who loved working with the youth!

My lessons are an exploration of movement. They require an open mind and tons fun. I love to make dance accessible to everyone, even when it’s not their main focus or art of choice. Each lesson includes vocabulary do that students can put a term to the movement their doing. I also teach basic stationary positions before moving to traveling movements and finally movement phrases. I love for my students to have choices!! There will be tons of opportunities to create your own movement phrases as well.
