I am an ESL teacher with four years experience, currently studying a Masters in English Language and Applied Linguistics. I have a first class History degree from University College London, and A/A* grades in all of my GCSE and A-level subjects (including English, Maths and History).
I'm also a Hufflepuff.

I lived in Japan for four years, and one of my favorite Japanese words is 'ganbatte', which roughly translates to 'do your best!'. It can be used to give encouragement at any time - to a runner in a sports race, to an exam candidate, to someone eating super spicy noodles. 'Ganbatte' forms the foundation of my teaching philosophy, that everyone should be encouraged to achieve their full potential, and with enough encouragement and support, students can do amazing things.
